Strike: Asuu To Call Off Strike On Monday

The Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu on Saturday proposed a leap forward in arrangements with the striking college speakers.

At a media gathering in Abuja, he said an understanding was come to with the association which was relied upon to drop the strike.

He said on Saturday, "The strike will be canceled from today or tomorrow and positively, there won't be strike one week from now."

The instructors under the umbrella of Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) began an uncertain strike on November 5, 2018, after the inability to achieve concurrence with the legislature over their requests.

The strike was said to have disturbed exercises at the colleges just as understudy accomplishment.
