Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy have been banned Indefinitely from the seasonal Ghana Music Awards. 

This was made known at a questioning and answer session with the coordinators of the show held on Thursday in Accra to brief the press about the decision been taken. 

Reporting the sanctions for the two dance hall artistes, director of the VGMA board 2019, Nat Brew Amandzeba said the two music acts have returned the awards they won the evening of the occasion. 

He said that Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale have lost their credibility for the VGMAs choices and performances. He noted that the decision was taken after "cautious thoughts" and "broad discussion" with partners in the Entertainment business.
